Its been sooooo long (3 years!!) since this blog was last updated! Already totally lost touch with band. Even my bro stepped down from band already! Miss everyone here so so much. Guess most of you already forgot the existence of this blog. I was just randomly scrolling through my dashboard hahaha. How's everyone coping with your life?  Great? Good? Nice? Fun? Busy? Bored? Having the time of your life? Haha. Couldn't wait to step down from band when i was still in band. But looking back now, those time were the best! Its been so long since I blogged, Im having problems structuring my post. Alright, next post in 3 years time. Year 2016.

HI PEOPLE! CHERYL HERE! It's been very very long since I updated this blog! Let's have a horn gathering after my o level ok! Shiddiq, you're gonna plan! Haha.

So fast ah, now my turn to step down liao. 3.5 years passed by so fast. Next time, its your turn to step down. I still can remember the time when I first joined horn section. Syafiqah was there. And she was introducing all of us. HAHAH. Time seriously flies! I'm kind of sad that nothing involving band involves me now ): Don't forget me! ^^

hmmm, but i guess practice can be tough and stuff. but hang on there. you'll see the results soon. work hard, no matter what happens, we're still a team, a section, a band.You can talk about how great the next part is going to be and all with complete ease. After all everything seems to be right on track and everyone seems to know exactly what they are doing.

The trouble with sharing team encouragement words starts when things are looking down. When the anyone of you is under performing and you begin to lose to your competitors. Naturally, the thought that comes to mind when something like this happens is to fire someone or scold at everyone who is involved with the failing. It is not easy to stay calm and simply motivate your each other to do better at such a time. Incidentally this is when the anyone of you needs team encouragement words the most.

The best way to motivate your section members is to involve them all the step of the way. People want to know why they are doing what they are doing. Share your vision with your section and let them know how you plan to achieve that vision. This means you need to draw some specific objectives that will help as a guidance as you all work towards the goal.

When sharing about the vision, show some passion and commitment. Before you ask someone to commit to your goals show that you are in it a 110%. This is one of the best way for team encouragement.

Once you have shared the vision, make sure that every one knows the role they will have to play to make the goal come into fruition. If it calls for taking some time and having a one-on-one session with each of your team members, right on! Do it - time spent with the section is not a waste. While meeting each section member, try to find out what he or she thinks about the project or task. Offer some encouragement words where necessary and make sure that you take genuine interest in the person's input.

Listening alone and sharing some words of encouragement to your employees or teammates is not enough. Your encouragement words must be followed by action. For one, you must be seen to implement some of the suggestions made by the team. Do consult every now and then even if you know what to do. Making the anyone feel part of the decision making process is very valuable to a company.

you've work really hard although its only the third day. you've helped the saxophone altogether and they helped you guys too [: Remember your water bottles and drink up! Must drown yourself with water (okay, not literally). The heat is really fierce. Must beat it. :D Dun fall sick. Rest well when you're dismissed. :D Remember no matte what happens, al of you are one section. The band is one. YOU MUST LOVE AND TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER!! ;D

the happiest thing being an alumni would be looking at all of you GROWN UP & start showing initiative man. AWESOME. you guys are really improving. however, dun get big headed. you still have a lot of things to improve on. so continue your great work for the next 7 days! :D anyhooo, HAVE FUN DURING ROD OKAYOKAYOKAY! ;D
